Why go with SaberSim vs. Awesemo?
Alex Baker’s Awesemo.com is a new entrant in the DFS space, but they’ve quickly established themselves as a major player.
If you’re evaluating your options and comparing Awesemo vs SaberSim, there are two areas to focus on: content and tools.
Comparing our content:
On the content side, it seems like the Awesemo team is putting out 2+ hour videos of their picks for every slate. While the volume alone is impressive, we have a different approach at SaberSim…we don’t tout.
Instead of getting you hooked on an endless cycle of picks, our guides are focused on one thing—helping you become a stronger DFS player, week-in and week-out.
You don’t have to choose.
At the end of the day, whether you want picks or strategy (or both) is up to you. Luckily, you don’t have to pick just one: we both make our content available for free on YouTube.
Comparing our tools:
When it comes to the tools we each offer, the differences quickly become clear.
Awesemo+ (the paid part of their site) is a collection of spreadsheets with average fantasy point and ownership projections.
At SaberSim, we know that DFS is about much more than averages which is why we simulate every game thousands of times so we can build projections that go beyond averages and capture a player’s true range of outcomes. Nobody else can do this.
It seems like a no brainer.
Awesemo+ starts and ends with those spreadsheets. If you actually want to do anything with that data, you need to shell out for another tool.
At SaberSim, not only do you get our industry leading projections but you also get access to the only lineup builder that automatically accounts for correlations, ownership, and variance so you can build better lineups, faster.
I’m obviously biased, but the comparison doesn’t seem close.
Don’t just take my word for it…
